In honor of his Ballon d’Or win on Monday, Luka Modric got special Nike boots.
He put a picture of his brand-new boots on Instagram. The playmaker for Real Madrid.
Additionally, Modric’s club shared a film of the Croatian player getting ready for his special night.
The 33-year-old man showed off his Nike boots and wrote, “A special year.” A unique prize. Many thanks to everyone at @nikefootball.
The winner of the Ballon d’Or was excited when he got the award, and he wants to do even better with Real Madrid.
“It’s hard to find the words to express how I feel,” Modric said. I’m thankful that everyone saw my trip and made me happy. As I held back tears, I thought, “What a great night to be one of the players who won this prize!”
A report in Marca said that Modric said of his foes, “[Antoine] Griezmann and [Kylian] Mbappe have congratulated me, it’s a dream year.” You know what? I want more with my team, and the World Club Cup is the first step.
Modric told reporters, “I think the last time I won The Best, I said I would change all my awards for the World Cup, but it didn’t happen.” “For a small country like Croatia, this World Cup success is truly remarkable.”

On the back page of AS, there was a picture of the Real Madrid team with the Ballon d’Or, which Modric gave to his teammates.
The player who used to play for Tottenham won the Champions League with Real Madrid last year and came in second place at the World Cup with Croatia.
After more than ten years, Modric was the first player since Ronaldo or Messi to win the award.
Chile’s team plays Melilla in the Copa del Rey on Thursday.
