Manchester City has unveiled their 2024–25 away uniform, which pays homage to a bygone era.

In honor of the squad that was promoted to the First Division 25 years ago in 1999, City has unveiled their new uniform. It is impossible to say whether City would have received the amount of investment that has seen them dominate the Premier League in recent years had they not won the game. City was down 2-0 to Gillingham in the play-off final that season, but they mounted an inspiring comeback and won on penalties to permanently alter the course of the club.

 

 

The replica shirts in PUMA’s kit are also created sustainably by RE:FIBRE, a process that creates new materials from recycled textile waste. There are real and imitation versions; the former is more akin to what Erling Haaland and company will wear on matchdays, while the latter offers a more relaxed fit.

The navy-blue jersey with neon yellow vertical stripes, together with neon yellow and blue decoration on the classic collar and sleeve trims, has been brought back by PUMA to commemorate this legendary match that will always have a special place in the hearts of City supporters.

 

In addition to Haaland, KDB, Dias, and Wembley hero Dickov, the kit was pre-launched for use by Jeremy Doku, Manuel Akanji, Kyle Walker, Laia Aleixandri, and Jess Park.

 

Authentic and Replica replicas of the 24/25 away uniform will be offered, so every fan can wear a piece of history.
