The striker has dazzled Manchester United fans with several spectacular performances this season, but this time, Anthony Martial’s wife was the one who got the full treatment.

When the 20-year-old France forward missed United’s previous two games due to a hamstring injury, he treated his wife Samantha to a birthday shopping spree in the city centre.

To commemorate her 23rd birthday, Martial brought his significant other to lunch at Nando’s. Afterward, they headed to Selfridges at The Trafford Centre, where he bought three pricey handbags.

The pair appeared content as they strolled through the Manchester shopping centre, with the striker getting ready to make a comeback from his injury. 

Due to hamstring pain, Martial was substituted by Marcus Rashford prior to last week’s Europa League match against Midtjylland. Rashford went on to score an incredible brace.

According to manager Louis van Gaal, the striker, Chris Smalling, and Matteo Darmian might all play against the Hornets at Old Trafford.

Valencia is back with the group after practicing with them for the first time today. Wayne’s character Rooney is still in a brace.

However, it may be difficult for Martial to regain his place in the starting lineup given the ascent of youthful striker Rashford.
