When it comes to Manchester United, fans are sure that FC Copenhagen’s first goal should have been changed.

United was looking to win their second straight Champions League game on Wednesday night.

Erik ten Hag’s team is currently in third place in Group A. They have won one of their first three games and lost two.

Rasmus Hojlund scored twice in the first 15 minutes for the Red Devils, who signed him in the summer. Things changed, though, when United player Marcus Rashford got a straight red card after a long VAR check.

After that, Mohamed Elyounoussi and Diogo Goncalves scored goals for Copenhagen to get back into the game.

When United fans saw a video of Elyounoussi’s goal, they were angry and took to social media to say so. They are sure the goal should have been thrown out for offside.

One fan posted a picture of the goal and wrote, “Here’s a Copenhagen player who is offside and blocking Onana’s line of sight for goal 1.”

Someone else wrote on Twitter, “Would be offside if it was the other way around.”It’s clear that we are being robbed every week, said a third fan.

“How have they not checked that on VAR?” someone else wrote. He is in front of Onana which stops him from seeing.

“That player was offside,” said a fifth. “Where is VAR when you really need it?”

Even worse, Harry Maguire was given a penalty for handling the ball in the penalty area, giving Copenhagen a second chance.
