One fan made it clear they didn’t like the move: “Two opponents swapping jerseys at halftime.” Yep. The world has become softer.

Someone else made a joke: “I wonder what Roy Keane would have said.”

Another fan said it reminded them of when Robin van Persie and Andre Santos did the same thing in a 2012 game where the Dutchman scored against his old team.

“People were shocked when an Arsenal player did that in extra time.” Everything is fine now.

During halftime of a 2022 World Cup quarterfinal match, Casemiro switched clothes with Luka Modric, who used to play for Real Madrid. Croatia went on to the Selecao on penalties and eliminated them from the game.

When Casemiro came back out to play after the break at Old Trafford, his afternoon was cut short when he collided with Harrison Reed.

Both players got medical care after the event.

Reed, on the other hand, was able to keep playing, but the hurt Brazilian had to leave and was replaced by Scott McTominay after 53 minutes.

Soon after, Calvin Bassey gave the guests the lead, adding to United’s growing list of injuries. Things went from bad to worse for the team.

When he drew in the 89th minute, Harry Maguire looked to have kept United’s perfect start to 2024 in the Premier League alive. But Alex Iwobi scored late in extra time to give Marco Silva’s team all three points.
