Several Manchester United players made last-minute trips to Monaco for the Formula One Grand Prix after celebrating their FA Cup victory over Manchester City into the early hours of Sunday morning.
Mason Mount was among those who arrived to the Monte Carlo racetrack on Sunday, dressed almost entirely in white as a Red Bull guest for the year’s most spectacular race.
Mount was greeted in the paddock by former Chelsea colleague Ben Chilwell, not a Manchester United teammate.
The two have stayed close friends since Mount moved from Stamford Bridge to Old Trafford for ÂŁ60 million last summer, and they appeared to be having a wonderful time in the humid Monaco weather.
Mount and Chilwell have already begun their post-season break, and neither has been named to Gareth Southgate’s provisional 33-man squad for the 2017 European Championship.
Mount has had a difficult first season at United, where he was given the club’s famed No.7 shirt upon arriving, suffering multiple injuries and appearing in only 20 games across all competitions, scoring one goal.
However, he was fit to participate in Saturdayâs Wembley match and came off the bench in the third minute of stoppage time as manager Erik ten Hag attempted to run the clock down.
Meanwhile, many Mountâs United teammates were there as Diogo Dalot paired Brazilian winger Antony on the field.
Dalot has been one of the clubâs top performers this season, and he was just named Unitedâs player of the season.

It was the first time Dalot had had a chance to express himself properly since his Wembley interview was cut short by United captain Bruno Fernandes.
Dalot commented on his teamâs FA Cup victory, saying: âIt went extremely well. The best way to close the season, and it feels amazing to be here as the FA Cup champion.
Dalot has been one of the clubâs best performers this season and was recently crowned Unitedâs players player of the season.

Dalot gave his verdict on his teamâs FA Cup triumph, stating: âIt went very well. The best way to end the season and now it feels good to come here as an FA Cup winner.
He continued to explain how Monaco was his first F1 experience, adding: âItâs my first time. I couldnât pick a better place to come and itâs an unbelievable experience. I hope I enjoy the race.â
Other football superstars were also present for raceday with Liverpool duo Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold in attendance, with Kylian Mbappe also taking in the sights of the super-rich setting.
