Man United welcome 7 players back to Carrington to train ahead of Community Shield match with Man City๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

๏ปฟA lot of new players were just sent to Manchester United, and they really need them! United looked awful last night in a 3-0 loss to their biggest rivals Liverpool in South Carolina. They don’t look ready to play Manchester City in the Community Shield next weekend. Luckily, they were able to get all of their players back after a break for foreign service.

All of the players who played for their countries in the Copa America and Euro 2024 are back at Carrington to train.

The people on the list are Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot from Portugal, Kobbie Mainoo and Luke Shaw from England, Lisandro Martinez and Alejandro Garnacho from Argentina, Joshua Zirkzee from the Netherlands, and Altay Bayindir from Turkey.

The club’s first new player this summer was Zirkzee, but he hasn’t played for the Red Devils yet.

Out of the seven players who are coming back to the club, he is the one who fills the biggest hole.

Rasmus Hojlund hurt his leg in last week’s friendly loss to Arsenal. He won’t be able to play again until the international games in September. This means that United doesn’t have a real, fit scorer on the team right now.

Finally, Zirkzee comes on, but it’s not likely that he’ll start the Manchester match on Saturday.

Leny Yoro, the team’s second new player this summer, is also hurt and will be out for a long time with a broken metatarsal.

United looked very bad and out of sorts on their tour of the United States. The games don’t matter because it’s just practice.
