There are three senior choices for the Red Devils in the defensive midfield right now: Casemiro, Sofyan Amrabat, and Scott McTominay.

All three of them have been hit or miss this season, which could make the club want to spend a lot of money on a new player at the end of the season.

A report from Record says that United is starting to get closer to Neves after having an eye on him for a while.

Manchester City is also interested in the 18-year-old star player, whose contract with Benfica has a €120 million release option.
