Man Utd lost EIGHT stars for Galatasaray clash but Ten Hag can use the best attacking quartet

Manchester United are set to be without eight players for Tuesday’s Champions League group stage clash against Galatasaray at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils had a disappointing month of September where they suffered four losses and picked up just two victories. Three of those defeats came in the Premier League.

Ahead of tomorrow’s European game versus Galatasaray, United will be without eight players. Manager Erik ten Hag has today confirmed a fresh surgery for Lisandro Martinez.

Apart from the defensive quintet, young graduate Amad Diallo is recovering from a pre-season injury while Jadon Sancho is currently suspended by the club for disciplinary reasons.

Donny van de Beek is the eighth United player who won’t be available tomorrow after being left out of the club’s Champions League squad for the group stage of the competition.

United have had a difficult start to the campaign and injuries are partly the reason behind it.

On the second matchday of the Champions League, they host Galatasaray to Old Trafford. After a lackluster performance last weekend against Crystal Palace, Ten Hag will be hoping for a victory.

Only one senior full-back is fit, leaving United severely lacking in defense, but there are no issues in midfield or attack, where the manager may select his top players.

After serving a four-week suspension, Antony is already back in team practice, and the Brazilian might start tomorrow. Along with Rasmus Hojlund, Bruno Fernandes, and Marcus Rashford, he could create a four-man attack. Ten Hag will now be able to launch his most effective offensive quartet.
