Raphael Varane was also happy to be a part of it and spend time with the MUDSA members. He told us, “It’s great to know that the fans are behind you.”

“Well, it’s almost Christmas, so it’s a good time to share that with them.” That kind of moment made us very happy.

“I believe it is good for the club to interact with people in the neighborhood as well.” It seems good to me for everyone.

Additionally, Tom Heaton was moved by our disabled fans and spoke for the team.

“I think everyone knows how much it means to the fans, and I think it’s important for the players to go down and talk to them.” It’s great to make that link stronger in some ways. You can tell that the shirts are full today because everyone signed them. It’s great that the whole team showed up.

Because they had so many games before Christmas, the men’s team wasn’t able to visit a hospital before Christmas. But they plan to go back in January to cheer up young patients after the holidays are over. Our men’s team took some time earlier this week to go to the Christmas party for the Manchester United Disabled Supporters’ Association. It was a great time for everyone.

Chas Banks, secretary of MUDSA, was thrilled with how many people showed up. “We’re here for the MUDSA Christmas party.” When MUDSA began at a party in 1989, we were one of the first groups for disabled fans. Since then, we’ve held it every year, except for during Covid.

“The players coming down is a tradition, and it’s a very sad event.” The whole team doesn’t usually come down for events. The players love it, that’s the most important thing!”
