A flop for Manchester United As Memphis Depay looks for a new team, he posts videos of himself working at Monaco.

Since Atletico Madrid let go of the 30-year-old Dutch player, he has had a terrible summer.

Even though the Dutch made it to the semi-finals, he had a hard time at Euro 2024.

And he still doesn’t have a job 10 days before most European clubs go on holiday.

Fans were not happy with the answers, though.

“Well that euro display didn’t help his case at all,” wrote one. Should be on a ball vs. running.”

“I’d say he’s much overrated, but I guess there’s a reason he doesn’t have a club,” said someone else. Don’t rate him at all. Guy has nothing to offer.”

A third wrote: “On his euros display, he might be waiting around for a while.”

During the Euros, Wayne Rooney said that he had a “talking to” with Depay because he wore a COWBOY HAT to a game.

While covering the Netherlands’ game against France, the United legend thought back to that time.

They fought because the Dutchman showed up to a reserve match in a Rolls-Royce and flashy gear.

Rooney didn’t like how the forward looked, so he talked to him about it.

He told the BBC, “First, you could never criticize his work rate.”

“Every day in training, he worked hard to show what he could do.

“It was more about a few things I talked about off the pitch.”

“I was being pretty quiet at a reserve game one time, and he showed up in a Rolls-Royce and a cowboy hat.”

“I had to speak to him, so that was Memphis.”

Depay has talked about his time at Manchester United and said that he “earned” his success.

This is what the 30-year-old winger said in a program about his life: “My whole life is upside down.”
