Alejandro Garach and Fred, two Manchester United players, recently went to Loretto High School. The Manchester United Foundation helps this school.

They talked to staff, sat in on classes, played football with kids, and took part in a question-and-answer session during their visit. Garach said he liked the visit and the chance to find out more about the foundation’s community projects.

Fred also had a good time. He talked to some local kids and hoped that their appearance would motivate them to keep going after their goals.

The Salford City College Group and the Manchester United Foundation are working together to help schools in Greater Manchester and other places offer more sports-related classes.
