United stars Bruno Fernandes and David De Gea were seen having a fancy lunch in Italy on Saturday.
United was supposed to play Preston in a game before the season. The United camp got the coronavirus, though, so the game had to be called off.
The club didn’t say which players, if any, have got the virus, even though the season is almost over. This was the case because everyone wished to stay safe.
But the fact that the team got together at Cibo on Saturday shows that some players haven’t had to stay away from each other.
De Gea, Fernandes, and another Spanish player on the team were seen leaving the restaurant together.
Tom Heaton and other United players greet Fernandes as he walks off in the same shot.
Paul Pogba, who has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, also got there quickly. He left through the back door after about 15 minutes. He got there almost when the food was over.
This is where Ed Woodward and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer met in February 2019, when the legendary manager made the decision to stay in charge for good.
People from the club and players already go to Cibo a lot, even though it just opened in late 2018.
Victor Lindelof, Nemanja Matic, and Andreas Pereira have joined them for pizza or pasta, which shows that football stars like Solskjaer enjoy it too.
United is now getting ready for their last practice game, which is against Everton. The club says that trouble shouldn’t happen again.
