Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has made history by winning the Premier League Save of the Month award for November 2024, thanks to his superb save from Liam Delap during the match between Ipswich Town and Manchester United at Portman Road.
With the score level at 0-0, Delap had a clear chance to open the scoring, but Onana made a fantastic save to keep United in the game.
The save not only won Onana the award for November, but also marked his third time winning the Premier League Save of the Month award, setting a record for the most wins by a goalkeeper since the award was introduced in the 2022/23 season. Onana beat the likes of Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope, Aaron Ramsdale and Robert Sanchez, who have all won the award twice.
Before reaching the aforementioned milestone in November, Onana also won Save of the Month for September 2024 thanks to an outstanding save against Crystal Palace.
The Save of the Month award is decided by combining votes from the public and experts. Onana beat many other saves in November, cementing his reputation as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League at the moment.
In the 2024/25 season, Andre Onana showed his outstanding talent and excellence in important saves for Man United, helping the team to be more solid in the race for the top flight of the foggy country.
