The Telegraph says that Manchester United might get another scorer this summer.
Lenny Yoro will not be able to play for three months after breaking his foot last weekend in a pre-season game against Arsenal. When Rasmus Hojlund hurt his leg, he had to leave the game as well. He is going to be out for about six weeks.
Hojlund is the only center forward United has right now. After moving from Atalanta, he got 14 goals in his first season with the team last year.
Man United had even more injury problems in their win over Real Betis, which made things even worse. Marcus Rashford and Antony both had to leave the field.
Man United wants to get Toney.
United wants to improve their team, so they signed Joshua Zirkzee this summer.
But according to The Telegraph, United could move those plans even further because Erik ten Hag wants another striker choice now that Hojlund has been lost.
In particular, Ivan Toney of Brentford has been named as one of the players Manchester United is considering.
There is only one year left on the England international’s deal, and Brentford wants to get around £50 million for him.
