During Manchester United’s Champions League match against Galatasaray, Marcus Rashford was observed exiting his McLaren and visiting his preferred jewelry store.
Rashford was barred from European competition for one game, thus he was not included in the 22-man squad that took a plane to Istanbul for the pivotal Group A encounter at Rams Park.
After losing Rashford, United drew the game 3-3 in front of a furious home crowd in Turkey. With a spectacular goal, Bruno Fernandes gave the squad a two-goal lead. The team’s lead was given by Alejandro Garnacho. After Scott McTominay’s goal and a goal from Hakim Ziyech, Muhammad Kerem Akturkoglu scored a late equalizer
England’s Rashford was not there since he was sent off with a straight red card during Manchester United’s most recent Champions League match, a 4-3 loss to Copenhagen, a Danish Superliga squad.
After tackling Elias Jelert in the 42nd minute, Rashford was ordered off the pitch. The Red Devils were up 2-0 at that point, but their error cost them the match.
While Manchester United was in Turkey, he was required to stay at home. However, it appears like the 26-year-old forward is enjoying his holiday.
Rashford was sent off earlier this month for inadvertently stamping on Jelert during United’s loss to FC Copenhagen, therefore he was unable to participate in United’s Champions League group match against Galatasaray.
At the time of the incident, a lot of people were unhappy about the red card. They said that while attempting to defend the ball, the forward could not have known where his opponent was.
