Marcus Rashford ‘handed England lifeline by Thomas Tuchel’ as new Three Lions boss ‘contacts Man United striker to say he is NEEDED for his plans’😍😍

ο»ΏA story says that Marcus Rashford will get a second chance with England under Thomas Tuchel.

Was Marcus Rashford actually any good for England v Wales? It's not a troll question

The Three Lions are about to go on their last international break of the year. It will also be their last break with caretaker manager Lee Carsley in charge until January, when Tuchel takes over before they start qualifying for the World Cup.

Rashford didn’t make the squad again. He last played for his country in March, when England lost a friendly against Brazil at Wembley. He also didn’t make the team for Euro 2024.

But Tuchel is said to be a big fan of the Manchester United forward. The Sun says Tuchel called Rashford’s team to let him know how much he admires him.

That means Rashford could be called up as early as March, during the first international break of next year, if he keeps up his good form with Manchester United.

A source told The Sun, “Tuchel talked to Marcus and his agents and told them he thought Marcus was an important part of the England team.” He said he thought the fact that England didn’t have Marcus as a choice was a big reason why they didn’t win Euro 2024.

“Other teams are afraid of what he can do, and Tuchel said he thought England wouldn’t be as dangerous on the left without Rashford. That made them easier to beat because a lot of the ball went down the right.”

“Tuchel really likes Marcus a lot.” This is a great boost for him and another reason to work hard to get back to his best.

As of now, Rashford has scored four goals and set up three others in 17 games for United this season.

And only one of those goals has come in the Premier League. However, United players are looking forward to a good season now that Ruben Amorim is on board.

He has played on both sides of the field for Erik ten Hag and interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy. But it’s still not clear where he will play for Amorim, who is expected to stick with his usual 3-4-3 formation.

He would have to beat out players like Anthony Gordon, Jack Grealish, and Noni Madueke to get back into the England team. All three are already in the team for the next two games.

Cole Palmer, Phil Foden, and Bukayo Saka are sure to make the team, but guys like Jarrod Bowen and Eberechi Eze are still on the outside.

It is said that Tuchel thinks England made a mistake by not including Rashford in the summer.

He has only played one game for his country this year, against Brazil. However, he is said to be doing extra one-on-one exercise work to get in better shape.

On Sunday, United plays Leicester. The 27-year-old will be part in that game, which will be van Nistelrooy’s last game in charge before Amorim takes over.

Rashford has played 60 times for England and scored 17 goals.
