Marcus Rashford risks angering Erik ten Hag as Man United’s ineffective winger ‘goes out with his girlfriend’ shortly after humiliating derby defeat at Old Trafford

Marcus Rashford put himself at risk of getting in trouble with boss Erik ten Hag by going out to a club just hours after Manchester United lost the derby at Old Trafford.

Unfortunately, Rashford had another bad game as Manchester City beat United 3-0 at home on Sunday.

After the game, the England star went to Chinawhite, a popular nightclub in Manchester, to enjoy his 26th birthday with family and friends in a VIP area. Friends of United player Tyrell Malacia say he was also there. People say the party ended around 3:30 am, but it’s not clear if Rashford stayed out that long. On Monday morning, he worked out at Carrington with the rest of the team. According to people who know Rashford, it was a small, planned party for his birthday in a private part of the club.

It remains to be seen if Ten Hag has a less positive view of the case and thinks about punishing the player. By celebrating in such a public place so soon after a disappointing loss, Rashford might upset his boss. The best way to describe it would be that it looked bad. The player who scored the most goals for United last season (30) has only scored once this season since getting a new £300,000-a-week deal in July.

Peers have quietly talked about how Rashford needs to step up and help United get over a terrible start to the season in which they’ve lost seven of their first 14 games. An old rival, Arsene Wenger, said he felt bad for United after their latest loss because things were so bad. The team’s previous manager said they were playing out of fear and without any hope. “In the end, for such a big club, you felt sorry for United because there’s no hope in the team,” Wenger told beIN Sports.

“I don’t see how they could do better.” This group has lost faith, skill, and even spirit. On top of that, I wouldn’t say United had a lot of fighting energy.

“I think United’s biggest problem is first and foremost the quality of the players,” he said.

Ten Hag was brought to Old Trafford to repeat his success at Ajax. However, after the derby loss, the Dutchman said, “We will never play the football we played at Ajax here.” The reason I came here wasn’t to play with other people.

“Our football will be much more direct here than at Ajax, where the game is very typical.”
