His acting double says that he looks just like Kylian Mbappe and the French star calls him his twin.
24-year-old Reece Ford works as a professional Mbappe double and has played the Frenchman’s role more than once.
There were times when Reece was on Love Island and said, “A lot of people say I look like Mbappe. A little over a year ago I got the dream job of being his double at the launch of his new Nike football boots Mbappe Flames in Paris.”
I was then at the French version of St. George’s Park in May of this year for the launch of the new French World Cup kit in Qatar. This is where our national training set up is located.
“After the game in Paris, Mbappe fans in France told me I looked like a mix of him and Ronaldo. It was huge over there.”
“This summer when I was on TV on Love Island, Dele Ali was trending on Twitter and people said I looked like a mix of him Mbappe and Ronaldo.”
Tonight, England plays France and Mbappe in the World Cup. It will be the toughest test for Gareth Southgate’s team so far.
And Reece, who worked at Coventry City with England’s James Maddison, said that England would win the important game.
He said, “I think it will be close, and Mbappe will score. But Harry Kane and Phil Foden should score goals to give us a 2-1 win.”
“I played at Coventry City from the age of six to 21 and at one stage played two years above my age group with England’s James Maddison.”
So far, France’s Kylian Mbappe has scored the most goals in Qatar. He will be looking to seriously hurt England’s chances of winning the match.
Reece told us that Mbappe speaks good English and that he is “nice” and “humble.”
“I had a great time working with Mbappe in France. He’s a nice, humble guy who even calls me his twin.”
“He speaks good English and remembered me when I worked with him the second time around about six months after the Paris shoot.”
Someone yelled, “Kyle Walker will skin you!” as Reece bounced a ball off his knee in Philip’s Park, which is near Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.
Someone else saw Selfridges’ receptionist Reece waving the Cross of St. George and yelled, “On Saturday, we will all be flying the flag!”
It was one of the coldest days of the winter so far when our Mbappe double walked into 63 Degrees on High Street and was greeted by cook Eric Moreau, who is 56 years old.
Eric, who has run his fancy restaurant for 12 years, said, “He looks like the best Mbappe in the world.” The game might come down to the wire.
“Mbappe is still very young, and we have a lot of good players.” Giroud is great and scores goals.
Raphael Varane, 29, of Manchester United is one of the best defenders on the French team. Last Christmas, Eric cooked for him at home.
He also said, “I have players from both City and United come into my restaurant.”
