MEMORABLE EVENING: Ten Hag took new Dutch Man Utd assistant manager Van Nistelrooy and Hake to dinner before England’s win over the Netherlands

Erik TEN HAG took his new teaching staff out to dinner in Cheshire to welcome them to Manchester United.

The new teachers, Ruud van Nistelrooy (48), and Rene Hake (52), went out to eat with the manager of the Red Devils.

The three of them stopped at La Famiglia, an Italian diner, to eat.

United is still making changes at Old Trafford after Sir Jim Ratcliffe became a partial owner.

Not only that, but Hake and Van Nistelrooy are two of the newest additions to the Manchester giants’ coaching team. They were announced by the club earlier today.

As the Dutch trio combines their footballing skills, they will be trying to build on Man Utd’s FA Cup win last season.

The football smarts went out to eat before their country’s Euro 2024 semi-final match against England. They got back just in time for the game to start.

The three coaches probably will not have been able to enjoy the game too much as they watched the Dutch lose.

A penalty kick by Harry Kane in the first half cancelled out Xavi Simons’ early goal for the Netherlands.

The Three Lions will play Spain in the Euro 2024 final on Sunday. Before the 90th minute, super sub Ollie Watkins scored a stunning goal to make his short appearance count.

United has made a lot of changes this summer, and adding coaches is just one of them.

Also, executives have been coming to the club to change its direction.

Dan Ashworth, who used to be the manager of Newcastle, finally moved to Manchester earlier this month to become the club’s new sports director.

According to reports, Ashworth will be in charge of all of Man Utd’s football results, hiring, and operations.

They hired a new technical head in April, and his name is Jason Wilcox. He will be responsible to Ashworth.

These two are not the only new people in Ratcliffe’s new look.

Omar Berrada, who used to be the CEO of Manchester City, is set to join the club later this month.
