The upsetting backdrop of Reds attacker Luis Diaz’s parents being abducted in his native Colombia pervaded the game. There has been no news regarding his father, despite the fact that his mother has been saved. The striker clearly wasn’t in the right mindset as he left the team hotel to play the game.
Within thirty-one minutes, Liverpool players had opened the score, raising Diaz’s jersey in the air. Four minutes later, Darwin Nunez increased their lead, and thirteen minutes from the end, Mohamed Salah confirmed the outcome.
The Egyptian did so, making history as the third Reds player to score in the team’s first five home league games. In response to the thrilling triumph, supporters praised Salah and declared that Diaz had won. Someone tweeted:

Jota said it’s ‘unimaginable’ how difficult a scenario it is for anyone to handle after the emphatic victory on BBC’s Match of the Day. The Portuguese striker provided further context for his goal celebration by saying:
“Luis stayed at the motel with us before leaving to go home. It’s a really difficult position, and I’m not sure how anyone would respond if it were you. He intended to play.
