After helping the Reds defeat LASK in the Europa League, Mohamed Salah is now in the greatest shape of his Liverpool career.
On Thursday, the Egyptians overcame a deficit to defeat their Austrian opponents 3-1 thanks to the third goal scored by his team.

Salah was only on the field for 16 minutes, but his influence was immediate as he took advantage of the LASK defense’s drained legs late in the game.
He created a ton of problems in the waning minutes before scoring with two minutes remaining by dodging several defenders.
Ray Houghton, a former Red, expressed his admiration for the strike during commentary for talkSPORT 2: “The arrogant flip, the way he casually shifts his body from one side to the other…
“[Jurgen] Klopp] knows he’s seen something special from Salah there.”
The 31-year-old continues to show why he is one of the top players in the world, and the Liverpool manager is accustomed to seeing that’special’ side of Salah.
His goal, the 189th of his career for the team across all competitions, allowed him to maintain the great run of form he had at the beginning of this campaign.
In the first five games of the Premier League season, Salah has contributed four assists and two goals, thus starting his European career.
He has assisted on goals in each of his last 12 games for the Reds, which is his finest streak since joining the team six years ago, if you include the run into last season.

On Merseyside, the “Egyptian King” is in the best shape of his career and on the verge of shattering yet another record.
The goal Salah scored for Liverpool in the Europa League was his 42nd in important European tournaments.
This is one of the joint-most goals ever for an English club in Europe.
He is seated next to legendary Arsenal player Thierry Henry, who finished his time with the club on the same score.
Therefore, Salah is now poised to make history and, with another goal during Liverpool’s European campaign, may surpass Henry.
And if his performance trend continues, that will probably happen in their upcoming European match, which is on Thursday, October 5 against Union Saint-Gilloise.
