Naby Keita shines with a brace in his homeland match for Guinea in Liverpool attire! ⚽🔴

Naby Keita, who is returning to Guinea for his post-season break, attended a local match in his hometown stadium on Wednesday while wearing a Liverpool uniform.

The Liverpool team is so multicultural that for many of Jurgen Klopp’s players, the season’s conclusion is their sole opportunity to go home.

Luis Diaz has been returning to Colombia ahead of the first preseason game on July 4, while Mohamed Salah is taking a family vacation to Egypt.

Keita, who is presently in Guinea, spent this week visiting his hometown of Conakry and the suburb of Coleah, where he was raised, to catch up with friends, relatives, and residents.

Additionally, the 27-year-old may be seen participating in an exhibition match at the Stade Koitayah, where, according to journalist Med Sesay and Mlamine Toure, “it all began.”

Along with his teammates, the midfield player sported the new Liverpool home uniform, although Keita wore the No. 70 shirt instead of his customary No. 8.

Sesay wrote: “Naby Keita and his friends from Santoba FC celebrated his goal this afternoon with the dance of Zapata, after he hasn’t played in his old stadium in almost ten years.”

Guineefoot claims that Keita delighted the onlookers by scoring twice in a quick debut.

He also got together with Mamadi Kaba Dieng, the legendary football player from Conakry who presently plays for AS Kaloum Star, a local team, to discuss remodeling the 40-year-old former Guinea international’s home.

Due to Guinea’s post-season Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Keita’s season concluded a little later than that of many of his teammates. As a result, he might not return for the start of preseason on Monday.

However, the club has not yet verified the group that is anticipated to report to the AXA Training Centre.
