Some of the best young players from Brazil are based at Real Madrid. At the ages of 23 and 22, respectively, Vincius Jr. and Rodrygo Goes have already made a name for themselves on the Brazilian National Team.
Additionally, Los Blancos is home to Endrick from Brazil, one of the most intriguing young players in the world, and Eder Militao, one of the country’s top defenders, who will join the team in the summer.
In a recent interview, Neymar Jr. expressed his opinion on whether Vini Jr. and Rodrygo may take his place as the leaders of the Brazilian national team in the future.
“Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo are players of the highest caliber; I have no doubt that they will assume this position. Because they already have the term for it, independent of me, in my perspective, they already are,” he stated, as reported by AS.
“I am pleased that they are getting to this level or that they are there now and supporting the Brazilian team, which is crucial. I absolutely like the two boys there. I chat to Vini and Rodrygo frequently; we are pals, he continued.
The Al Hilal winger then discussed the possibility of Ancelotti being the Selecao’s head coach and what it would mean to him to collaborate with the Italian strategist.
“Ancelotti will be warmly welcomed if he manages Brazil. He is well-known and has excelled in every aspect of his work. Of course, I’ll like it a lot if I get the chance. I’ll make an effort to learn whatever I can from him.
Vinicius, wounded and gone
Real Madrid is getting ready to break up for the international break after defeating Getafe 2-1 at Santiago Bernabeu over the weekend. However, due to injury, Vini Jr will not be serving this time with the national team.
The 23-year-old sustained a thigh injury against Celta Vigo and is anticipated to be sidelined for at least another five weeks. After being selected for the Brazil team, he was injured and Barcelona’s raphinha took his position.
While traveling with the Selecao to take on Bolivia and Peru, Rodrygo will team up with Neymar Jr.
