NO PEN PALS: Referee forced to push Bellingham away as he tries to put off England team-mate Harry Kane before crucial penalty

As England’s teammate Jude Bellingham readied up to take a penalty kick for Bayern Munich, the referee had to nudge him away from Harry Kane.

The Champions League semi-final match between Bellingham’s Real Madrid and Kane’s Bayern was taking place at the Allianz Arena.

And after Jamal Musiala was fouled in the box, the hosts were given the opportunity to grab the lead.

When England captain Kane offered to accept it, a friend from the Three Lions tried to talk him out of it.”I’m sure he was saying something to try and put me off,” Kane remarked, “but happily, it was OK.”

“It’s unclear what he was saying. There, murmuring something, I noticed him.

“I’ll need to find out exactly what he said. When I’m in my zone, I make an effort to ignore everything.

Before the penalty could be awarded, referee Clement Turpin was seen pushing Bellingham away from Kane.At some point, Bellingham turned to let the England captain have his effort.

Kane calmly took the penalty and sent Andriy Lunin the wrong way to score.

The Germans led 2-1 thanks to a penalty kick from Kane, but two goals by Vinicius Jr.—the second of which was also a penalty—set up Bernabeu’s comeback the following week.

The victor will play either Borussia Dortmund or Paris Saint-Germain in the Wembley final the following month.

After Bayern’s domestic problems, Kane, 30, left Spurs to join Bayern in a £105 million summer transfer. He is still seeking for his first big prize.

However, he went on, “The Champions League is the biggest of them all, so naturally, it would be an incredible season if we could somehow secure that one.” There is still much to be done.

.“These are the major events I wish to participate in. “I came to the club for this reason. I’m sure the atmosphere at the Bernabeu will be just as amazing as it was here.

“One of the greatest teams in Europe, Real Madrid has the ability to punish you, like they did today.

“We’re sad that we didn’t win, but we’ll try again next week.”After Bellingham was substituted in the second half, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed that he had been experiencing “cramps” and was “tired.”
“We didn’t play our best, but the second leg will be exciting and open,” the Italian continued. You can never predict what might occur.
