Amrabat’s ability to compete this weekend was called into question when an ιnjury prevented him from playing for Morocco during the break.

Reguilon was also present, with the Spaniard appearing to have overcome a hamstring problem.

The on-loan Tottenham Hotspur defender has been absent from the team’s last four matches, but he was thought to be close to featuring against Brentford before the international break.

Reguilon is now expected to take a timely return to the side on Saturday, with the Spaniard set to start at left-back due to the ongoing absences of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

Shaw is out until at least next month due to a muscular problem, while it is understood that Malacia underwent a knee operation over the summer, which will keep him out until the latter stages of the year.

Man United will be missing Casemiro this weekend, though, as the midfielder has remained in Brazil to address a minor problem which he suffered on international duty.

The 31-year-old has been ruled out of the contest with Sheffield United and will also not feature against Copenhagen in the Champions League next week due to suspension.

As a result, he could make his return to the side in the Manchester derby at home to Manchester City on October 29, which comes ahead of a EFL Cup clаsh with Newcastle United.

Lisandro Martinez, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Amad Diallo are also still injured, while Jadon Sancho remаins absent due to his falling-out with head coach Erik ten Hag.

Scott McTominay’s stoppage-time brace against Brentford before the international break secured a huge three points for the Red Devils, and Casemiro’s absence could open the door for the Scot to start this weekend.
