Man Utd football star Mason Mount has visited a children’s hospice in Surrey to put a smile on small faces.

The midfielder was announced as a patron of Together for Short Lives back

At Christopher’s Children’s Hospice in Guildford, Mount enjoyed a special football-themed afternoon with seriously ill children and their families in his first visit to a hospice since becoming a patron.

He said: ” I am really passionate about highlighting the lifeline support Together for Short Lives and children’s hospices like Shooting Star Children’s Hospices give to seriously ill children and their families so that every family that needs it can access lifeline care.

“It was great to meet the children today and see for myself that children’s hospices are places of warmth, joy and laughter.”

A UK charity called Together for Short Lives works to make the most of the time that critically ill children and their families spend together.

The organization raises money and awareness for the 54 children’s hospices in the UK, including Christopher’s, which is a part of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
