The majority of Premier League strikers must find it frustrating to score as many goals as they do.
Darwin Nunez’s most recent Instagram post suggests that his first season in the Premier League may have gone well.
Last month, Liverpool announced that they had reached an agreement to pay up to £85 million to Benfica for the striker.
It’s also possible that his recent success in scoring goals was aided by the fact that he has put on a lot of muscle since his Benfica debut.
He flaunted his toned body on Instagram when he shared a picture of himself and his new Reds colleagues having a good time and going fishing during their preseason training camp in Austria.
Nunez has gained muscle (and at least two more abs) in addition to more hair than in the 2020 picture.
Although Nunez’s brief month at Liverpool won’t produce much, the team might be trying to emulate Bayern Munich’s strategy of developing young players.
Since joining the German champions, players including Robert Lewandowski, Leon Goretzka, and Alphonso Davies have put on weight.
Nunez posted an Instagram snapshot of himself fishing, and it seems that the other Liverpool players have more muscle than mussels.
