OFFICIAL: €4m deal contact is sealed to take Sancho come back to Dortmund on loan from Man Utd with UNIQUE term unparalleled in history

With his loan return to Borussia Dortmund imminent, striker Jadon Sancho has finally made it back to Germany.

After more than a week of negotiations, Manchester United and Dortmund have made progress, with Sancho prepared to undergo a physical and sign a contract that will last through the end of the current campaign.

The agreement is for a simple loan with no purchase option, and it is anticipated to close very soon.

Ruhr Nachrichten BVB posted footage of the 23-year-old’s Tuesday night landing in Dortmund on social media.

Following Sancho’s expulsion by United manager Erik ten Hag, the move is expected to be advantageous to all sides. Dortmund will reimburse the Red Devils for a portion of Sancho’s salary as well as a nominal sum.

In preparation for their training camp in Marbella the following week, Dortmund had been hoping to finalize a contract for Sancho.

Since his employer publicly criticized him in September of last year, Sancho and Ten Hag have been involved in a feud.

After the 23-year-old retaliated on social media in September over the manager’s claims that he had been sacked for his “training performance,” the Dutchman banished him from practicing with his teammates.

The England winger, who cost £73 million to sign with United in 2021 after leaving Dortmund, hasn’t appeared on the field for United since their 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest in August. United announced on September 14 that the winger won’t be working out with the first team.

After that, he trained both independently and with Man United academy players.

In addition, Sancho changed his Instagram profile photo to one from his time at Dortmund, reactivated his account, and wrote a mysterious message to followers.

His 9.7 million followers have received the most convincing indication yet that the change is almost complete, even though he hasn’t posted anything on his account.
