The forward signed the deal on Monday morning at an event in the offices of the Ciutat Esportiva. Along with Joan Gamper, FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, first vice-president Rafa Yuste, head of youth football Joan Soler, and director of sports Anderson Luis de Souza “Deco” were also there.

More to come

The deal makes sure that the kids will stay in Barcelona. He has been a member of the club since he was seven years old when he moved there from CF La Torreta.

One of the hottest things to come out of La Masia in recent years is Lamine Yamal, who quickly rose through the young ranks.

He made his league start against Betis on April 29, 2023, when he was only 15 years, 9 months, and 16 days old. This made him the youngest player the team had ever had in a competitive game.

Xavi Hernández has been using him more and more. After joining the team for the preseason tour, he started the game against Cadiz as the youngest player ever to play for FC Barcelona. In the next game, against Royal Antwerp, he became the second youngest player ever to play in the competition.

He is still young, but he has already earned his first cap for Spain. He not only became the youngest player to ever play for “La Roja,” but he also scored the youngest goal ever in a game against Georgia.
