The Real Madrid team is willing to pay €10 million to permanently hire Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea.
A story from Defensa Central says that Real Madrid wants Kepa Arrizabalaga to stay with the team after the 2023–24 season. The 29-year-old goalkeeper is on loan from Chelsea to Real Madrid right now. The big Spanish teams want to sign him permanently as well.
A new goalie wasn’t being pushed for by Real Madrid during the summer. With Thibaut Courtois in goal, things were pretty calm between the posts. The Belgian international goalie is one of the best in the world, and since he joined the white team, he has done great things for them.

But he hurt himself badly and couldn’t play for a while, so Real Madrid had to look for a new goalkeeper. After that, Real Madrid was linked with a lot of goalkeepers. That being said, they ultimately chose to hire Kepa Arrizabalaga.Chelsea was ready to talk about letting the 29-year-old go because he was no longer a starter. Real Madrid then signed him on loan for the season. Since he joined the white team, the Spanish international has played in nine games and kept a clean sheet five times.
He may have made a few mistakes, but his game as a whole has been pretty good. And people at the club like what they’ve seen from him. Because of this, they want to hire him permanently and are willing to pay €10 million for his services.

At the moment, Real Madrid has two goalkeepers who are actively playing: Andriy Lunin and Kepa Arrizabalaga. Both of them, though, are likely to leave the club in the summer. This is Lunin’s last day on the job, and there are no plans to extend it. Unfortunately, he has not lived up to the hype, and it is not his fault. The Spanish giants will likely let him leave on his own.
Kepa, on the other hand, will go back to his home club Chelsea. Real Madrid will now only have Thibaut Courtois on their team. They also want to make sure they have a good enough backup for the Belgian international.
They want to have someone on their team who can play in the starting eleven in case Courtois can’t get back to his best. Because of this, they are ready to push Spanish International to help them. Even though the player would love to stay at Real Madrid, the Blues will make the final choice.
