Today, New Balance Football confirmed the signing of Endrick, a 17-year-old phenomenon in Brazilian football, confirming the rumours and on-pitch placements.

The brand’s objective to help and elevate the next wave of gifted athletes includes the signing. After his contract with Nike expired in February 2023, Endrick—who was previously contracted to Nike—joined New Balance. He had a six-month chance to extend his contract with Nike.

Endrick has received accolades for both his call-up to the Brazil national team and his part in Palmeiras’ championship run in the Brazilian top division. He unveiled the ‘Accolade’ Tekela v4+ Low footwear, a limited-edition pair of gold New Balance boots made specifically for him, to commemorate the event.

Because they were able to provide Endrick a more visible and prominent position than other brands, New Balance was able to sign him instead of other companies like Nike, Adidas, and Puma. In a statement, Endrick expressed his delight at becoming a part of the New Balance family and said he was honoured to work with a company that upholds his basic principles both on and off the pitch.

As they have demonstrated by recruiting and developing young players like Harvey Elliot, Eberechi Eze, and Bukayo Saka, among others, New Balance is making an investment in the future generation of football players.
