‘Outstanding’: Virgil van Dijk can’t get over how good 20y/0 LFC player actually is

Jarrell Quansah received praise from Virgil van Dijk for his performance for Liverpool against Wolves on Saturday.

The Dutch international, who replaced Van Dijk during his Premier League suspension alongside Quansah, was glowing in his remarks to the media via the club’s official website.

When Liverpool plays LASK tonight, Quansah is anticipated to start, and many observers and teammates, including Van Dijk right now, are eager to see where the defense can go from here.

Liverpool FC v Aston Villa - Premier League

He was terrific, in my opinion, especially over the weekend, the Liverpool captain stated. It was a challenging game for him to play away against Wolves, but I thought he was exceptional given the time he was on the field.

He was extremely steady, someone you could build in that game, and it was fantastic to see him keep his composure and complete the task. I felt a great sense of pride and joy for him. He should merely consider it a beginning, but it’s a pretty strong one.

He must continue working and studying, but he is, in my opinion, at a terrific club with a great environment and a great squad, so just keep going. He should play a significant role for the club both now and in the future.

At Liverpool, Van Dijk must serve as Quansah’s tutor.

Newcastle United v Liverpool FC - Premier League

Since being pushed into the senior team at the beginning of this season, Quansah has established himself as one of Liverpool’s most promising players, and the 20-year-old is poised to play a significant role for the Reds this season.

The Dutchman is undoubtedly the greatest player the England youth international can learn from during his time at Anfield, therefore Van Dijk must make sure he is a mentor to Quansah.

Quansah may eventually take Van Dijk’s spot in the starting lineup, so the Liverpool captain must make sure the kid is at his best when it’s his turn to play for the Reds.
