Rasmus Hojlund, a striker for Manchester United, was chosen as Denmark’s Talent of the Year for 2023.

Before getting a hat-trick for his country in a 3-1 win over Finland at the Parken Stadium, the 20-year-old made his international debut in 2022. His great finishing won him fans over. After that, he scored twice against Kazakhstan in a 3-2 win away from home.

The player we bought in the summer has been very important to Denmark’s Euro 2024 qualifying campaign. They won their group and will now play Slovenia, Serbia, and England in the finals next year.

Our number 11 scored seven goals in eight games, making him one of the top scorers of the season. 

However, the young player was in great shape for Erik ten Hag’s team during our UEFA Champions League schedule. He has yet to score in the Premier League. 

Five goals were scored by the young Scandinavian. His first goal for the club came against Bayern Munich in our first game in Group A. 

Hojlund said of the award, “It means a lot to me.” 

“I’m so proud of you. The other players are very good, but I think I did well this year too. I’m thrilled to have won the award and proud of myself. 

“It’s always great to win, and a lot of talented footballers, both current and former teammates, have won this award before me. It’s great to be able to say that you have been named Talent of the Year.”
