At the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid beat Valencia in a very exciting game. Carvajal scored the first goal with a powerful left-foot strike. Vini Jr. and Rodrygo then scored twice each. They have won ten La Liga games, five of them at home, and are going into the international break with a win.

Things could not have gone better to begin the game. Our team took the lead in just three minutes. Kroos sent a precise pass from his own half to Carvajal, who kept the ball, beat Gayá, and curled a shot with his left foot inside Mamardashvili’s left post. Soon after, Alaba’s free-kick with his left foot just missed the target (6′). Soon after, Kroos almost made it 2-0 when he hit the goal with a direct free kick just outside the area.

 

A very large Lunin

Hugo Duro was Valencia’s quick answer. At the 10th and 15th minute marks, the shooter was stopped twice by the huge Lunin. First, the Ukrainian quickly stopped a shot from close range, and then, when he had a one-on-one, he stopped the guests from tying the game. Madrid took back the lead, and Vini Jr. made a couple of risky moves that could have made their lead even bigger. In the first, he got past Thierry to the byline and cut back past Paulista in the six-yard box, but Mamardashvili stopped his shot. He then linked up with Rodrygo and headed for the goal, but his right-footed shot went into the side netting.

It was 2-0 in the 42nd minute. Vini Jr scored the goal when he went up and met Rodrygo’s ball at the far post. Before the break, Rodrygo almost made it 2-0 by putting a straight free kick just wide of the goal.

At the start of the second half, our team once again showed how good they were at striking. They were the stars of the show, and the score went from 2-0 to 4-0 in less than two minutes. In the 49th minute, Vini Jr. got a pass from Rodrygo in the final third, cut to the edge of the area, and shot with his right foot that Mamardashvili couldn’t stop. Rodrygo was the next one to go. He stole the ball from Valencia’s goalie, cut into the box, and fired home with his right foot to make it 4-0.

In search of more goals, Madrid kept going. When Lucas Vázquez and Carvajal worked together in the area in the 77th minute, Vázquez took a shot, but Mamardashvili saved it. At this point, Real Madrid was on a roll, and Rodrygo finally got a well-deserved brace. The attacker got the ball from Fran Garcia and cut inside Paulista before putting it home with his left foot. Last but not least, Hugo Duro made it 5-1.
