It is said that Real Madrid might be willing to let go of Federico Valverde because Liverpool is getting ready to make a huge offer for the player.

According to Fichajes, Valverde’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu is not set in stone, even though he has been playing very well. Some say that the signing of Jude Bellingham and the extensions of Dani Ceballos, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos could have an effect on the Uruguayan.

The 24-year-old had a great season, playing in 56 games across all categories scoring 12 goals, and setting up 7 others. He has become an important part of Carlo Ancelotti’s team, and Liverpool is interested in him because of how well he keeps playing.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be thinking about making an offer of €100 million for Valverde. Real Madrid already has a lot of good midfielders, so the Uruguayan player is most likely to leave.

Valverde moved from Penarol to Real Madrid for €5 million in 2016. Since then, he’s played in 204 games across all categories scored 18 goals, and set up 15 others. One time in the UEFA Champions League and twice in La Liga the aggressive midfielder won it.

But Liverpool’s interest makes it less likely that he will stay with the La Liga leaders. Real Madrid may be interested in a €100 million offer since they paid the same amount for Bellingham. They paid Borussia Dortmund €103 million for Bellingham, beating out West Ham United to sign the English youngster.

Valverde’s deal at the Bernabeu lasts for another four years. He seems happy living in Madrid, but he could play a bigger part in Klopp’s middle, which is missing some players.
