Real Madrid wants to add to their team even more in the summer of 2025, and Trent Alexander-Arnold has become one of their top goals.

A lot of people think Alexander-Arnold could be a good right-back for Real Madrid, especially since Dani Carvajal is nearing the end of his career.

In addition to the other choices they are looking at, Real Madrid may be most interested in Alexander-Arnold because of his contract situation at Liverpool.

The English player’s contract at Anfield ends at the end of the season. In the summer of 2025, he could be available for free move.

So, a new story from SPORT says Real Madrid may be able to sign Alexander-Arnold for free next summer since the player turned down Liverpool’s offer.

It looks like the Englishman doesn’t want to stay at Anfield for much longer, especially since Jurgen Klopp left.

Liverpool made an offer to sign the right-back, but he turned it down and is now happy to see out his contract at Anfield. He would then be able to sign with any team he wants, so Real Madrid could try to get a pre-contract deal in January.

Richard Hughes, who is in charge of sports at Liverpool, is not ready to give up just yet. But it’s important to remember that the Reds have other things to do.

Along with Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are also in the last year of their contracts. This means that Liverpool will have to work hard to keep all three players until 2025 when they can leave for free.
