Real Madrid is likely to have a very busy summer transfer window in 2024. The club wants Alphonso Davies to be their new starting left back, and they will likely talk to Bayern Munich about this in the coming months.

The big move, though, is likely to be for a striker. Karim Benzema left the club for Al-Ittihad in the summer, so they don’t have a top-level number nine right now. That is expected to change for next season, but we don’t know who will be targeted yet.

A lot of teams want to sign Kylian Mbappe, and since his deal with Paris Saint-Germain ends at the end of the season, Real Madrid wouldn’t have to pay a transfer fee. That being said, he’s not a true number nine like Erling Haaland is, and Real Madrid is said to want him.

There’s no guarantee that Real Madrid will be able to sign either player. Because of this, Sport says that Victor Osimhen of Napoli is a “Plan C” choice for next summer. The Nigerian would be a great addition if he turns out to be the one being sought after.

It will be interesting to see who Real Madrid picks. Haaland or Osimhen would look better, but they would both cost a lot of money. Mbappe, on the other hand, wouldn’t cost a thing.
