Recently, it has come to light that the Spanish capital club is interested in someone else in the German team.

Real Madrid is interested in Jeremie Frimpong

Writer Rodra P said that Real Madrid is very interested in Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong.

The 23-year-old Dutch defender has done great since moving from Celtic to Die Werkself in 2021. His game has reached a whole new level under Alonso, especially when it comes to attacking.

Frimpong has scored 12 goals and set up 11 others in 34 games across all events this season, which is a strong sign on the field.

Real Madrid does need to replace Dani Carvajal with a long-term player soon, and Frimpong could be a possibility. However, they also like Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool.

Not sure about Frimpong But even though Real Madrid is interested in Frimpong, they are not as sure about the 23-year-old right back as they are about Florian Wirtz.

There are no doubts about how good he is going forward, but Real Madrid has worries about the Netherlands international’s defensive skills because he often gets caught off guard.

Frimpong is worth €50 million on the market, and his deal with Bayer Leverkusen lasts until 2028. If Real Madrid decides to go after him, he won’t be cheap.

That being said, the Merengues are still keeping an eye on the Dutchman for now.
