A little over four months have passed since Real Madrid beat Barcelona to the signing of Arda Guler from Fenerbahce.
Unfortunately, the 18-year-old young star hasn’t played for the Merengues yet because he’s been hurt twice in a row.
First game against SC Braga?
During the last international break, Guler went back to training and has been trying to get fully fit again.
The teenager has been working for a few weeks, but he hasn’t played in the games against Sevilla, SC Braga, and Barcelona.
Recent news stories said that the Turkish player might be called up to the first team and could make his start on November 5 against Rayo Vallecano.
But Edu Aguirre of El Chiringuito now says that Guler will play his first game for Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League against SC Braga.
The reporter actually says that the Merengues’ medical staff want the summer signing to be ready to play against Braga at the Santiago Bernabeu in the fourth round of the Champions League.
Guler making a lot of people happy
Guler has made a lot of noise at Real Madrid, even though he hasn’t played a single minute of football since coming in the summer.
A lot of his teammates and even his boss, Carlo Ancelotti, have spoken well of the teenager and his skills.
He is getting better, but fans will have to wait about a week to see him play for Real Madrid again in the royal white shirt.
