Bad results and injuries in Brazil’s team, like leader Neymar Jr. getting hurt in October, have slowed down their efforts to qualify.

Recently, things got worse when Rodrygo’s striking partner for Real Madrid, Vinicius Junior, hurt his hamstring and will not be able to play until 2023.

Vinicius Jr. flew back to Madrid after medical tests. His comeback time will last until January, which is bad news for both his club and his country.

Because of the two injuries, Rodrygo will be Brazil’s most experienced forward against Argentina. Gabriel Jesus, who plays for Arsenal, is also hurt and having a hard time.
