When it came out that Real Madrid had beaten Barcelona to the signing of Arda Guler from Fenerbahce over the summer, Barcelona fans were very happy to have one of the most exciting kids in world football join their team.

But Guler’s first few games at Real Madrid have been pretty bad. An earlier knee injury got worse in the beginning of preseason, and surgery had to be done to fix it. After getting better from that, the Turkish player had another problem that kept him out of more games over the last few weeks.

But Guler is back in training with the rest of the Real Madrid first team, though his first game for the club won’t be for a while yet. According to Diario AS, Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff are planning a “mini pre-season” for Guler to get him fit as soon as possible.

Guler probably won’t be able to play in any of Real Madrid’s next three games, not even the match against Barcelona at the end of October. But there is a good chance that he will finally make his club start in November unless he gets hurt again.
