Rasmus Hojlund got angry at Alejandro Garnacho, a teammate at Manchester United, because the Argentinian failed to find him when he ran into room in the box.
The United striker really wanted to open his FA Cup account against Newport. He was in charge of the attack while Garnacho and Antony were on either side of him.
Even though they lost the first two goals, Erik ten Hag’s team earned an important 4-2 win at Rodney Parade and moved on to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Antony, a Brazilian winger, gave United the lead again with a shot from a tight angle in the 68th minute. Hojlund was furious 12 minutes later when he wasn’t given the chance to get involved.
Garnacho led a good attack down the left wing, making Newport players back up and head back to their box. But he lost the ball when he turned into an incoming tackle.
There looked like an opening to send an early cross into the back post, and Hojlund was working hard to get there, but his hard work didn’t pay off because Garnacho gave up the ball.
Since Hojlund moved to Old Trafford from Atalanta for £72 million in the summer, the two young United players have gotten along well and are playing more games together.
But Hojlund yelled at his teammate during a heated argument. He raised his arms twice and yelled at Garnacho, who is 19 years old.
While United tried to stop a Newport attempt, the moment went by quickly. Finally, Hojlund got a goal to show for his hard work.
The Dane and Garnacho celebrated together when United scored their sixth goal, which pretty much sealed the win.
Hojlund also got rid of his anger by yelling angrily into the cool evening air as United avoided embarrassing themselves in the FA Cup.
In the fifth round of the FA Cup, United will play either Bristol City or Nottingham Forest. They really want to make it all the way to the final like they did last year.
