Well, Manchester United lost 2-1 to Nottingham Forest in their Premier League away game at the City Ground on Saturday night.
For United, Antony got the game underway. Early in the second half, the 23-year-old winger for Brazil was substituted off the pitch.
The youthful player, who came from Ajax and paid United £86 million in transfer fees in 2022, did not score or dish out an assist. The Brazilian gave an extremely poor performance.
Antony, who formerly worked at Ajax with Erik ten Hag, the manager of United, has yet to score or provide an assist in the Premier League this year.
Forest’s Anthony Elanga got the game underway. The 21-year-old winger was used in a 4-2-3-1 configuration on the right of an attacking midfield-three, just like Antony did for United.
The 21-year-old winger for the Sweden national team assisted in Forest’s winning goal.
Elanga paid £15 million to move from United to Forest in the summer of 2023. Throughout his 14 starts and 6 substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, the winger has contributed six assists and four goals.

Throughout his 41 Premier League appearances thus far in his career, Antony has managed to score four goals and dish out two assists.
Elanga, who came through United’s youth and played for the first team before joining Forest, has made 59 Premier League games thus far in his career, tallying seven goals and supplying nine assists.
