The news that Kylian Mbappé will not be extending his deal with Paris Saint-Germain next summer has no doubt been the main focus of France’s plans for this week’s Euro 2024 qualifiers. This could mean that he will be leaving the club in the coming months.
During his press meeting today at Clairefontaine, midfielder Eduardo Camavinga had to talk about the chance of playing with his national team captain for his club team. The 20-year-old wouldn’t say anything about the reports directly, but he did say that he wouldn’t mind if Mbappé came to the Spanish capital:
“I promise you that you will hear that. I guess I have nothing to say. I would be thrilled if he joined Real Madrid.
Camavinga went on to say that the subject was talked about among the team and that there was some teasing, but he didn’t think it had a big effect on Mbappé.
Three days later, Les Bleus played Greece at the Stade de France. On Friday night, they went to Portugal to play Gibraltar. They were in first place after beating the Netherlands and Ireland in March.
