RISKY MOVE: Real Madrid ‘interested in TWO Man Utd defenders’ with Ruben Amorim ‘willing to allow fan favourite to leave’

Real Madrid is keeping an eye on more Premier League stars, not just the two Man Utd aces.

Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring TWO Manchester United defenders ahead of the January transfer window.

The Spanish giants have had a mixed start to the season after securing both La Liga and Champions League titles last year.

Their situation has been worsened by a defensive injury crisis, with Dani Carvajal, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy, and Eder Militao all sidelined.

Carlo Ancelotti is already exploring options to restore Los Blancos as the team to beat in the upcoming transfer window.

According to talkSPORT, the Madrid manager has surprisingly turned his attention to Old Trafford.

Ancelotti is reportedly monitoring Manchester United’s defensive duo, Lisandro Martinez and Diogo Dalot.Real would find that useful with ageing right-back Carvajal suffering a devastating injury that ruled him out for the season.

Ancelotti has also been unable to find the right man to cover at left-back.

The same report claims the Italian tactician has set his sights on other Premier League targets as well.

One of them of course is Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose contract runs out in June.

Tottenham ace Cristian Romero is also being monitored by the Spanish giants.

However, new Man Utd boss Ruben Amorim might be willing to let the center-back go as he looks to implement his own philosophy.

Real Madrid also seem impressed by Dalot, 25, who had an outstanding season at Old Trafford last year and was named Players’ Player of the Year.

The full-back stood out by showcasing his versatility to cover both flanks during Manchester United’s injury crisis, although he has struggled to maintain that form this season.
