Altay Bayindir has signed a deal with Manchester United that runs through June 2027, with the possibility of an additional year, pending international clearance.

53 clean sheets have been recorded in 166 career appearances for the 25-year-old Turkey international. He was an important member of Fenerbahce’s roster the previous season, when they won the Turkish Cup and finished second in the Super Lig.

“It is a huge honor to join Manchester United and become the first Turkish player to represent this incredible club,” Bayindir stated after signing.

“I have a strong desire to succeed, and I will do everything in my power to support this unique team of athletes as we work to realize our goals.

“I am really excited to begin working with such a skilled goalkeeping group.
