Kim Kardashian, David Beckham, and LeBron James were among the famous people who watched Lionel Messi play his first game for Inter Miami against Cruz Azul.
The Argentine came off the bench to score the game-winning goal in the 94th minute, which gave his team a 2-1 League Cup win on Friday night.
Kim Kardashian stood for a picture with David Beckham, Victoria Beckham, and the club’s co-owner while she and her son Saint were at the game. She told Apple TV that Saint was the one who made them look that way.
The Daily Mail says she said, “We’re going to different exhibition games all summer.” I played football for about six years. I played goalie and center forward, I wasn’t bad, you know.”
When asked if Saint had a favorite player, Kardashian said it was Lionel Messi, who is now the number 10 for Inter Miami and is thought to be one of the best players in the world.
They have seen one of Messi’s teams play before. They were seen in March at the Parc des Princes, where Paris Saint-Germain beat Rennes 2-0.
NBA star LeBron James was also at the DRV PNK Stadium with the famous people. He wore a white-patterned bucket hat and t-shirt, and he was seen hugging Messi before the game.
Serena Williams, who lives in Florida and went to the game with her friend Kim Kardashian, was another famous athlete who attended.
Fans of Messi will be happier leaving the Fort Lauderdale stadium than Mexican fans because the World Cup winner broke the tie in the last few seconds of the game.
In the 44th minute, Robert Taylor gave Miami the first goal, putting the team ahead. In the 65th minute, Uriel Antuna tied the game.
That being said, Messi’s skill was clear when he scored a perfectly put free kick that gave his team all three points.
