‘Shut up and leave the field’ Carragher fumed and fumed as he criticized Ten Hag as ’embarrassing’ as Man Utd collapsed completely against Palace

Three “embarrassing” Manchester United players were criticized by Jamie Carragher following their 4-0 loss at Crystal Palace.

Erik ten Hag got closer to the sack on Monday night as the Red Devils were humiliated at Selhurst Park.

At halftime, the players thanked the traveling supporters for their support despite the outcome, and they continued to sing and clap inside the stadium.

But cameras from Sky Sports captured Antony, Mason Mount, and Andre Onana walking off the field with the team.

As he spoke to Mount, Antony made finger gestures and covered his mouth, giving off an enthusiastic appearance.

Furious, Carragher yelled at the screen to tell the three to leave the field.

The veteran defender for Liverpool yelled, “Just get off the field! Talking, whispering, that is, behind your hand.

“It has been terrible. Most likely, you are referring to the manager, the setup, or one of the players.

“Just leave the field. Get in and stop talking. We have defeated you 4-1. Talking behind their backs and whispering about other players is quite embarrassing.

Antony had another hard evening playing on the right side for United.

After an hour, Ten Hag pulled the Brazilian, switching him out for Sofyan Amrabat and rearranging his lineup.

In 81 games since joining from Ajax in August 2022, the 24-year-old has contributed five goals and 11 assists.

He ended his goal drought against Burnley at home last weekend, though, as he has only scored once in the Premier League all season.

In the meantime, fans and commentators have criticized him recently for his antics.

Following United’s FA Cup semi-final victory against Coventry last month, Antony faced criticism for cupping his ears to the Coventry players.
