While attending the MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey on Tuesday, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez had several adorable moments of friendship.

The Only Murders in the Building star, 31, and the Bad Blood hitmaker, 33, had been friends for a long time and were seen cuddling up to one other at the celebrity-studded event.

Both Swift and Gomez received applause from the audience as they accepted their awards: Gomez for Best Afrobeats Video for her “Calm Down” collaboration with Rema, and Swift for her four-win performance in Anti-Hero.
